Mentor/Mentee Program

Mentor/Mentee program

The goal of the NA-SIMS society is promoting student involvement in the conference and to support and encourage the next generation of SIMS and surface scientists. Each student participating in the program will be paired with an academic or industrial mentor. Mentor/mentee events will be hosted during the conference, allowing for students to establish a network of support and ensure there is a strong SIMS community. Details on the Mentor/Mentee events which will take place during the conference to be provided later.

Are you a student attending the conference? Please consider participating in our Mentor/Mentee program. This program is designed to help you network during the conference and will provide someone who you can speak with about a future career in science. You will also get the chance to interact with other mentees so that you can meet the other young scientists involved in SIMS and surface analysis. If you are interested in participating, please select “yes” to the following question during registration: If you are student, do you want to be a part of the Mentor/Mentee program? Or contact us at simsworkshop@rice.edu.
