Register for 2023 Rice SIMS Workshop
We are pleased to announce that the 2023 Rice University SIMS Workshop, will be held at the Bio Science Research Collaborative building (hosted in the BRC Auditorium and in the BRC Exhibition/Event Hall) on Rice University campus located at the Texas Medical Center in the Museum district area in the ‘Space City’ of Houston, Texas, on September 12-14, 2023.
The 2023 Rice University SIMS Workshop is an informal forum for the interchange of practical information about Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry. Members of our community will meet, exchange new ideas, and renew personal and professional relationships via events, such as the poster session and talks.
Prior to the SIMS workshop, tutorials on Surface Analysis techniques will be offered by National and International experts. Participants will thus have a unique opportunity to learn fundamental and practical aspects on major techniques of surface analysis as well as their applications.
A special exhibition featuring the event sponsors will be available throughout the event. In addition, premium software schools and instrument demonstrations will be available for workshop participants.
In addition, it is the firm belief of the organizing committee that our future lies in the education of new members of our community so our event will host a mentor/mentee program as well as a career center.
The 2023 Rice SIMS workshop will be available for virtual attendees.
